The mission of The National Children’s Cancer Society is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families around the world. Since 1987, the N.C.C.S. has distributed more than $44 million in direct financial assistance to the families of more than 22,600 children battling cancer in the United States. The N.C.C.S. Global Outreach Program has distributed more than $215 million in donated pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in 35 countries outside of the U.S. used to treat 75,000 children with cancer.
