The Institute was incorporated in 1927.

In addition to our facilities located on the campus of Concordia Seminary in Clayton, we are developing a museum on the history of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod in the synod's International Center at 1333 S. Kirkwood Rd. at Interstate 44. This museum will be open by the spring of 2009.
