How long have you been in business?
DOTec Corporation was founded in 1991 as a sole proprietorships by Dr Al Gonzalez P.E. (EN21234), after five years in 1995 the company became a type S corporation, with a certificate to offer engineering services (E-1683-D, Missouri Board of Engineers Architects and Land Surveyors.
What is your primary product or service?
Engineering services in the areas of NPD, New Product Development and engineering recruiting services.
DOTec is capable of offering services in support of infrastructures using the IBC 2003, 2006, 2009 codes, the latest ASHRAE HVAC, both mechanical as well as structural design and analysis.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Since childhood was always fascinated by mechanisms and structures, Dr Al Gonzalez possesses degrees in Civil Engineer BSCE, Mechanical Engineering, MSME (Washington University in St. Louis) and a Doctorate in Engineering Management Ph.D. from the University of Missouri Rolla (Missouri University of Science and Technology)

Presently three locations, two in St Charles and one in the State of Florida.

DOTec also accepts credit all cards, plus fee for service T & M and contengency billing.
Which areas do you service?
Structural Analysis, MEP, Mechanical, Electrical plumbing for comercial as well as residential applications. We also do Forensics Engineering and inspections. The old division of DOTec still do NPD, New product Development, finite element analysis of structures and mechanisms, Computational Fluid Dynamics of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, pressure vessels, infrastructure, parkings, buildings, air structures, HVAC, industrial installations of equipment and other areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We have a company structure that includes Dr Al Gonzalez as President and CEO, Mr Mathews Boyce COO, Joel Rullan CFO, plus Administration personell, and a supporting group of 11 engineers.
What are your hours of operation?
24 hrs seven days, 365 days of the year.
