How long have you been in business?
E&A has been in business since 1996---all with the same owner.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a full-service CPA firm offering a wide range of services, ranging from tax planning and compliance to audits and reviews to business consulting. However, we are careful to provide those services only in those niches where we are highly qualified and add value.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After years in Large Corporate America and an international CPA firm, I sought to bring a level of sophistication in financial matters that is routinely available there, but which most small to medium size businesses can't afford full time. Because we're not career outsiders and have been on your side of the desk, we can be a client's "Finance guy down the hall" that they need.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We follow Covey's "First seek to understand, then to be understood." and we understand that our core competency isn't (and shouldn't be!) your core competency. So many clients have told us "No one has asked so many questions or cared about our organization's goals as you."; and "You don't make me feel stupid like the last accountant did."
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Crestwood Missouri (Southwest St. Louis County) but we've served clients in all but a few states and clients in or from 49 countries.

From west, north or south:, at the intersection of Interstates 44 and 270, take the Watson Road ramp. Continue on Watson for about 3.5 miles (just past the former Crestwood/Westfield Mall on the left) and we are at 9109 Watson on the left side of the road. If you get to Applebee's, you went about 100 yards too far.
From the East: take Interstate 44 west from downtown to the Elm exist ion Webster Groves (the same exit as for Webster University). At Elm, turn left and proceed through the stop lights at the highway and Glendale Ave. The next set of lights is at Watson (Steak n Shake on the right at the corner). Turn right onto Watson and after you pass through two sets of lights (and the Applebee's), 9109 Watson is the next building on the right.

"Normal" hours are 8:3-0 to 5:00, but almost any time can be accommodated by appointment.
