Lehmann House Bed & Breakfast specializes in the traditional B & B experience. We offer four comfortable guest rooms, individually decorated with antiques & very comfortable beds. Each bathroom is generously stocked with plush towels, quality amenities, plus a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. A bountiful breakfast of fresh fruit, a freshly baked pastry, egg entree, breakfast meat, toast & jam, plus coffee, tea, juice and milk is served each morning, surprising guests with different delicacies each morning. We specialize in making our guests' stay a "home away from home" experience by providing personal service--assisting guests with all of their travel needs, tourist information, and many other services.

How long have you been in business?
I have been in business since August 1989.
What is your primary product or service?
My primary service is a bed & breakfast inn. we also host weddings and other special events.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I first became inspired to run my own bed & breakfast after reading an article about one in Victorian Homes Magazine. After the birth of my first child, in order to be a stay at home mom, I took the leap to transfer my skills as a chemist (BS Chemisty--UMSL) to innkeeper.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I make my guests stay more of a staying with friends/family experience vs making it all about rules and business. My guests rarely see or hear the business side of what i do, they experience warm hospitality, comfort and good food.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one location with five rooms. Future expansion would include adding up to four more rooms over the next few years at this location.
